How to Choose Floor Scrubbers and Sweepers

Cleaning a large space, like a warehouse, takes a lot of time and manpower. It doesn’t have to, though, if you use the right types of floor scrubbers and sweepers for these demanding jobs.

Automatic Systems

Whether you are looking for an industrial scrubber or sweeper, it is ideal to choose a model that has an automatic system. This lets your staff clean without having to exert much effort, if any at all. They’ll have more energy after each cleaning job, ready to complete other important tasks.

Jobs that take manual machines hours to complete generally take automatic floor cleaning machines minutes to finish. This helps improve worker morale, as a result. Automatic systems are usually pretty easy to operate. Employees don’t have to go through extensive training just to learn how to operate them.

Tank Size

If your floor cleaning machines come equipped with a tank, then you need to consider its size. Bigger tanks hold more debris and particles you pick up, so you don’t have to make many stops throughout the cleaning job. However, because these tanks are large, more than one person needs to lift them off of the machine. You may not have enough manpower to disrupt the workflow, so smaller tanks might be a better fit.

The more time you spend thinking about these cleaning machines’ attributes and features, the more likely you are to select the right model that is within budget and has the right accessories included. Then, you can clean like a pro.
