Types of Scrubbers

If you are searching for a piece of machinery that can clean a floor in a short time, you have plenty of choices in the industrial sweepers and scrubbers available today. However, a scrubber is the more preferred option, and still, you might be in for a surprise, as there is more than just the typical unit that has a base and a container for water.

Wet Scrubbers

These are ideal for businesses that don't have a lot of carpeting or rugs on the floor. They have containers for water and other cleaning products that will often leave a shine on the floor instead of just cleaning the surface. Contaminants on the floor are easily removed with the liquid that is used. This type of scrubber also makes it a bit easier to use bleach when cleaning instead of just using water and soap. There are aspirators in the scrubber that help to keep the liquid circulating so that you're always using the cleanest water possible when you're cleaning. However, you do need to empty the container on a regular basis so that there is fresh water to use.

Dry Scrubbers

A dry scrubber is what you likely think of when you imagine a machine that has a brush or a cloth on the bottom that sweeps the floor. There isn't any liquid used with the scrubber, which can sometimes make it difficult to get the floor as clean as it could. However, the cloths that are used do remove dust and allergens in a better manner than some wet scrubbers would.

After examining the various types, choose one that works best with the floor that you have as each type provides its own benefits.
